Daniel Kim's Pop Danthology (Best of 2015, Pt. 1 & 2)

   Though there's little more than a month left in the 2015 music year, the insanely talented Daniel Kim has decided to drop his anticipated year-end mashup a bit early this time around. What is unexpected this year though, is Kim's decision to release the always-exciting mashup in two parts, representing a total of 66 of 2015's biggest hits and under-appreciated pop gems.

   From chart toppers such as the most recent "Hello" by Adele and "What Do You Mean?" by Justin Bieber to some of my favorite single releases this year from Adam Lambert, Hilary Duff, Jess Glynne and Carly Rae Jepsen, whether it incorporates a few seconds of a beat, or actual vocals, everyone is accounted for on the two-part masterpiece.

      Last year, the incredible DJ brought together work from Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Jason Derulo, Beyonce, Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor to create a cohesive, infectious listen, but this year Kim had a diverse mix of material to work from. He still someone got the job done. This year, Ellie Goulding, Years & Years, Madonna, Demi Lovato and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis join in on the fun, for a effortless blend of production and songwriting talents. When you hear someone easily blend music from the likes of Britney Spears, Drake, Selena Gomez and Fetty Wap, it's quite a remarkable experience

      Which part is superior? Listen to the recently released mash-up, play a game and see how many tracks and artists you can identify, or just sit back and enjoy the hard work of a talented individual. 2015 certainly brought the dance beats and theatrics, let's hope the next calendar year succeeds in keeping us all entertained as well.
