Think back to all the epic feuds between celebrities: Joan Crawford and Bette Davis. Biggie and Tupac. Swifty and Kanye. Donald Trump and EVERYONE. Timeless classics, we'd all agree. But Justin Bieber and Marilyn Manson? Who knew that particular beef would have legs?
It was just a month ago that Manson was on Howard Stern's radio show and read aloud apology texts from Bieber. See, back in 2016 wore, and more importantly, sold a T-shirt with Marilyn's likeness on it with "Bigger Than Satan… Bieber" printed on the back, then went on to tell the rocker that he made him "relevant again." That didn't sit well with MM, understandably, but Bieber's recent apology was sincere.
Turns out, Justin was too late to say sorry because Marilyn is talking about him again — and it seems like all wasn't forgiven.
Manson spoke to radio host Cindy Scull and had some not-so-nice things to say about the Canadian singer, claiming Bieber was "in some sort of sexual religious cult with the Asian version of Dave Navarro, apparently," before adding, "I don't like to fight with girls [Umm, sure, we guess not?], so I don't wanna fight Justin Bieber." Um, did he just call Justin a "girl," like it's some kind of insult? Pfft. If we were on the fence about whose side we're on, that moment has passed.
When Scull asked why Manson thought Bieber repurposed Manson's merch, and Marilyn replied, "I don't know, because I don't know how to use the mind of a squirrel."
Hmm, so Marilyn's still talking about Justin. Seems like maybe he does need Justin to keep him relevant. Ugh. Whatever, dude. Justin is currently doing anything he can to stay out of the spotlight, so hopefully he's in a place where he doesn't reply, or feel the need to apologize again, or, worse, kiss Manson's ass yet again. Actually, forget all that. Here's hoping Biebs is in a place where he doesn't engage at ALL. Resist, Justin! Don't take the bait.
