* There are many artists out there right now that are slowly rising out of the ashes in hopes of becoming the next big thing in the music industry. With some of them working with the likes of Akon, Lil Wayne, Will.I.Am, and many others I feel that they might actually have a shot if their music comes across the right type of fans and audience. The artists I am about to show you are some that I think deserve recognition and your attention if they do not have it already. Some are over the top, fresh, and just plain crazy, but I think that attitude and persona will take them a long way! Enjoy!
Introducing... Porcelain Black!
First up is the outrageous and unique, pop/rock artist, Porcelain Black. After spending three years trying to get out of a record contract that was getting her nowhere, Black eventually signed with producer Redone's Universal Republic label and is currently working on her debut album which has a rumored release date of January 2012. My first taste of Ms. Black came from the official release of first single and accompanying music video, "This Is What Rock N Roll Looks Like feat. Lil Wayne". Wayne considers Black as some sort of protege and you can expect to hear some interesting collaborations once her album is actually released. The music video is something that gives the audience a hint at the type of artist Black is, as well as showing off some interesting hair color choices. I enjoy Black, I think her voice is really powerful and unique, but not everyone will grow fond of it which is fine. Black has a small role in a big budget film coming out and her second single, "Naughty Naughty" will be available on November 15th! Go get it!
Introducing... Eva Simons
Eva Simons, a Dutch artist, is one that many may not know of at the moment but she is slowly trying to make a name for herself in the UK and the US. Simons first gained massive Internet recognition when her first single, "Silly Boy", was uploaded to YouTube as a collaboration between top stars, Rihanna and Lady Gaga, and received millions of views. When the music video was released, the world got to see who was actually behind the addicting, dance/pop song that was appearing on almost every existing blog. Simons is indeed a mix of both artists mentioned before. She has the vocal abilities of Rihanna and the style and personality of Lady Gaga, not a bad mixture to have. Simons has appeared on a couple of albums as a featured artist, most recently LMFAO's "Best Night" and is currently climbing the Billboard Hot 100 on Afrojack's "Take Over Control", where she provides all the vocals. This artist is barely getting started, keep your eye on her.

Introducing... Frankmusik & Colette Carr
Thought I would kill two birds with one stone with this next entry, Both of these artists have their very own sound and style, but the pop gods allowed this collaboration to happen and the track and music video are some of my favorite things at the moment. Frankmusik, who actually follows me on Twitter :), and Colette Carr , both signed to CherryTree Records, are amazing talents and give vocal performances that would make any other artist jealous. Frankmusik is prepared for the release of his second studio album,Do It in the AM, which I will have a review for on Oct. 4, while Carr's debut, Skitzo, is rumored to makes its way across the country sometime in October. Their collaboration, "No I.D.", seems to be a cute and innocent love song backed up by impressive beats and production while featuring some great vocals and noticeable chemistry from the two of them. These two will be big, I promise you!
Introducing... Emily Osment
Now most people would know this next artist for two main reasons: 1) She is the younger sister of Haley Joel Osment, star of "The Sixth Sense", and 2) Maybe you will recognize her from a little show named... Hannah Montana. Anyways, Emily Osment followed in the footsteps of her Disney co-star Miley Cyrus and decided to jump into the music business by releasing her first album, Fight or Flight, which did not really make a big splash on the charts like many had thought it would. After the failure of the album's first single, Osment and her label decided to try again with the second offering, "Lovesick", which is a track ten times better than its predecessor. The music video has to be the best thing about the entire project, has a beginner Lady Gaga feel, and I think if Osment continues her music career, she should stick to this sound and persona, she does not do a bad job at it, actually quite amazing and stunning.
Introducing... Patrick Stump
This last artist on my list is one that is very familiar with the music industry as he was the lead singer to former punk/rock group, Fall Out Boy. The band may have disbanded and gone their seperate ways, but Patrick Stump is not letting it slow down his career. Stump is about to release his debut studio album, Soul Punk, which will be released in the US on Oct. 18, so expect a review from me for this project as well. The first single off the album, "This City feat. Lupe Fiasco", shows a drastic change in the singer's music, but the change is in a positive direction, a more pop sound that will surely garner Stump a larger fan base even if he loses some old fans. The music video for the track showcases a whole new look for Stump as well. No more glasses, or long hair, instead he traded it all in for sharp suits and a edgy haircut that I think complements him much better.
Also, be sure to check out these up and coming artists that have already released albums that I have reviewed on AlbumConfessions. You will not regret the decision to do so. All of them have big plans lined up for the future.
