Tell us about yourself and how you started blogging?
Well let‘s start with the facts. I‘m 24 and I live in Berlin although I was born in Wiesbaden.
I just got married to a Scotsman called Alasdair and we have a very cheeky,
almost two year old dog called Hamish.
Alasdair and I met almost six years ago in Aberdeen where we both studied Publishing and Journalism.
In my last year of university I was so sick and bored of Aberdeen that I decided to start a blog
as a sort of creative outlet for myself. I have always loved fashion so it just felt like the perfect topic.
God I am so embarrassed of it‘s humble, very crappy beginnings.
What do you do when you’re not blogging?
I work full time, currently at a German magazine in Berlin but I‘m switching to my new job
in about two weeks where I‘ll be working in PR again. I also love exploring this amazing city,
taking weekend trips elsewhere and day trips to the lakes and forests surrounding Berlin.
Travelling is one of my biggest passions. One of my favourite things to do is take
long walks with Hamish and Alasdair or spend several hours just taking photos with my camera.

Who are your favourite brands/designers?
This is an endless list but I‘ll name a few: Acne, Alexander Wang, Balenciaga,
Isabel Marant, Celine, Givenchy, Iro, Carven, Zara, Chloe, Miu Miu, Adidas, Preen,
 Jil Sander, The Ragged Priest.
I‘m a die hard fan for the first six but since half of my wardrobe consists of nameless vintage
it‘s hard to say. I would never wear one designer head to toe, maybe combine a maximum
of two items but my favourite thing to do is to throw some vintage into the mix.
How would you describe your own personal style?
I have no idea. Probably as weird, dishevelled, random. I‘d rather have my readers answer that one.

What fashion trends are you enjoying now?
I‘m ridiculously obsessed with sporty dressing and oversized, torn denim. It‘s even transferred
to my hair and makeup routine. I‘ve stopped wearing any makeup except some highlighter
and am finger combing my hair with this smoothing hair lotion I have each morning.
I‘m also really loving tie dye and neon. I think I‘m secretly trying to look like this cool,
mussed up, „I just woke up and threw this on“ girl but don‘t tell anyone.
 What would you never wear?
Capri leggings and and no bra.

Do you have a style icon?
I hope this doesn‘t come across as creepy to my fellow COFD blogger
but Mija is my number one inspiration. She looks exactly like that girl I talked about above.
I think authenticity is key. What you wear should represent you.
If someone doesn‘t feel comfortable in what they‘re wearing it shows and it‘s not attractive.
 What are your favourite blogs?
Love-Aesthetics for her limitless creativity, AfterDRK because of her attention to detail,
The Road is Home because I actually cried when I first discovered it,
Karla‘s Closet because she is one of the most beautiful women on this planet,
JouJou Villeroy for her fierce outfits, Summerlisten and Shiggersonstreet
because they‘re the duo of effortless style, Six Feet From The Edge for her bubbly, sweet personality,
The Northern Light because I didn‘t really believe women like that existed before,
Stop It Right Now because I get a laugh attack from her ingenious, honest writing.
She also has the most badass style I‘ve ever seen and last but not least my girl gang
(yes, so sad I used that term) the COFD squad.

What is your favorite film, song and book/magazines?
My favourite films are really cheesy: The Notebook, P.S. I Love You, Crazy Heart,
Barfuss (German), The Lives of Others. Well I consider these my favourite because I have watched
them all about 10 times. I can‘t say what my favourite song of all time is but Stairway to Heaven
by Led Zeppelin and Child In Time (the long version) by Deep Purple will always be at the very top.

What can't you live without?
 My loved ones.

Where will you be in 10 years?
No idea, maybe in Berlin, maybe in Glasgow, maybe in Bangkok.
I‘ll have to see. I still plan on having many more adventures.
I can always get really settled later on but I know I‘ll have all these adventures with Alasdair.

Special Question: Tell us your favourite things about the place you live…
Berlin is such an incredible city.It feels like half the world has realised this by now.
It is super international, full of inspiration and I love that it can be so ugly and so beautiful
at the same time. It‘s the only place I‘ve ever been to that immediately felt like home.
It strikes that perfect balance between a bustling metropolis and small town familiarity.
When I was sixteen I spent a summer living in Kreuzberg living with three university students
while attending a course at ESMOD and I completely fell in love. Since then I always knew
I would end up living here.Luckily Alasdair felt the same about Berlin as I did. Strangely
enough my three favourite cities in the world all start with a B: Berlin, Bangkok and Barcelona.
